We’re a brand new organization, but our initial project proposal has already landed us product sponsorship from Liquitex Artist Materials, which, in addition to a donation we received from a local business owner will be enough to complete our first project. The production of our murals will incorporate students from Youngstown City Schools, disabled persons, and U.S. Military Veterans who will be afforded the unique opportunity to work alongside seasoned artists in this community effort. The idea is that our murals be movable and manageable, versus a permanent fixture, making participation easy. We are happy to have experienced professionals and nationally known artists on our team, who initially established their careers in the region. Our creative director as well as many of the other artists on board are graduates of Youngstown State University –well known both locally and nationally. Some involved in the project have had extensive experience in mural painting, as well as having already given a lot of time to various community art projects.

Recently, we’ve also teamed up with nationally known non-profit organization, Semper Fidelis Health and Wellness to provide a therapeutic outlet for Veterans, through art. Locally, the Education Coordinator at OH WOW! (The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center For Science & Technology) has expressed interest in hosting a project at their location downtown.
